The final league game of the season against Crawley Town Girls saw us start a little nervously, but soon settle into a game which we were to totally dominate.
Early chances following good midfield play and determined defending therefore fell to Jade on a number of occassions, however the opening goal seemed to elude us, and even a penalty was missed by Emma before the half time whistle.
The scond half started pretty much as the first had ended, with the girls taking a firm grip of the game, and looking by far the better of the two sides during all outfield play.
It was therefore somewhat frustrating that when during one of Crawleys rare attacks, a soft left footed shot from a tight angle somehow decieved Charlotte in goal.
This however seemed to spur the girls on, and we soon equlised following a tremendous stike from jade from outside the box who was proving a thorn in the side of a tiring Crawley defence.
One goal soon became two, when folowing a further period of pressure, a well taken corner was met in the six yard box by Jades head.
The pattern of the game continued and Jades hat trick was completed when she ran onto a thgrough ball and rounded the keeper before firing home into an empty net from an angle inside the box.
With twenty minutes to go he game became open, with half chances falling at both ends before the final whistle.
A superb team display, a well deserved victory, and an individual perforamce by Jade in the second half that will take some beating!
